OMLP accelerates development of entry-level talent and produces leaders capable of meeting the challenges facing the Supply Chain (inclusive of manufacturing, sourcing, materials, and quality) functions at GE Vernova.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesOMLP is a 2-year rotational program consisting of 4 six-month rotations that allow members to build leadership and functional skills through challenging assignments and world-class training.
Training topics include lean, functional expertise (EHS, quality, sourcing, materials, etc.), as well as leadership and personal development topics.There are 3 mandatory rotation types every OMLP will complete :
Manufacturing Shop Operations Supervisor (people leader of hourly workforce)
Sourcing/Materials Management (procurement, material flow)
Technical - ( quality , lean, manufacturing engineer / process engineer)
Required Qualifications
Recent bachelors or masters degree in engineering, logistics, or supply chain management. Supply chain majors need operations or manufacturing experience.
All rotations will be in the UK. Desire to stay in the UK post graduation required.
Desired Characteristics
Prior internship experience in lean, engineering or manufacturing/supply chain (preferred)
Ability to solve problems in a team / manufacturing environment.
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to connect with all levels of the organization showing openness, transparency & humility
A strong commitment to a career in manufacturing/ supply chain.
