- Producing accurate design packages using Auto CAD/ micro-station software, lighting design software (Relux/Dialux) and electrical design software (Trimble Amtec)
- Interpreting client requirements and apply appropriate techniques to achieve suitable design outputs.
- Perform electrical calculations, lighting calculations and coordinated building services design drawings compliant to British standards, Network Rail standards, Building Regulations and other relevant standards.
- Prepare and produce design drawings, specifications, risk assessments and client information relevant for submission to client.
- Consideration/ application of sustainable design solutions where applicable.
- Carrying out site surveys both in a rail environment and a ''high street'' environment and preparing reports and documentation.
- Keep updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Minimum of 3 years of Experience working as an Electrical Design Engineer working within Building Services.
- With experience in working on project up to £2 Million.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Relux and Trimble software
- holds an engineering Degree or Equivalent
- Trustworthiness, reliability, conscientiousness, and a strong drive for career progression
- Highly motivated individual with excellent teamwork skills
- Ability to write technical reports and documentation
- Up to £42,000 P/A (DOE)
