- Act as point of reference for resolution of production related issues.
- Create and maintain manufacturing process documentation (manufacturing instructions, methods, and routings) for new and existing products in accordance with relevant engineering drawings and standards.
- Create and maintain manufacturing tooling, fixtures, and test apparatus in accordance with internal specifications and/or associated standards.
- Identify and implement improved process efficiency and cost reductions through technological advances, lean tools/techniques, and utilization of plant equipment.
- Lead training and team development for production processes including setting and operation of machine centres.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing team members, design engineers and Vendors to support new product launches.
- Working experience in the manufacturing industry with a bias towards machining operations
- Proven experience as CNC Production Engineer Full understanding of operating CNC machinery
- Experience of MAZAK CNC Machines would be beneficial.
- Preferably 5+ years in an Engineering/manufacturing environment.
- Possess the confidence and skills to lead projects in line with the above responsibilities.
- Strong computer programming skills using relevant software packages would be of an advantage.
