    We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support provision in Foundation stage and Key Stage One under direction. The role will be varied and exciting, with opportunities and challenges to support all abilities and ages on key focused activities that will have a valuable impact on their achievements.

    Requirements

    • A record of good attendance
    • Level 3 qualification in childcare
    • Patience and understanding
    • The ability to react clearly and quickly to the child's needs
    • Good communication skills

    As the Teaching Assistant role is a challenging and rewarding one, applicants must have good communication skills and the ability to overcome communication barriers with children in order to meet the demands of the role. Their contribution to the school will help to improve behaviour, develop social skills and overcome barriers to learning and develop independence in children.
