    This role will be based in the UK and can be either office based in Uxbridge or fully home based in the UK. The office is open planned, and you will be working in an innovative and collaborative environment with your international peers and colleagues. This is an entry level position, as the Business Intelligence Specialist, you will act as an internal partner providing high quality worldwide Parexel information, knowledge and, intelligence analysis to support our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the request for information (RFI) process, ensuring quality and timely delivery to our customers. You will work closely with integrated solution strategists (ISSs), solutions consultants, sales (client relationship directors/consultative sales directors (CRDs/CSDs)), proposals, other pre-sales teams and almost every department within Parexel. You will need excellent customer service skills, a reasonable knowledge of the drug research cycle (or aptitude to learn quickly), good attention to detail, and the ability to be persistent while communicating appropriately and effectively with internal stakeholders in order to facilitate the development of client ready compelling RFIs, which includes writing, drafting, and developing text in conjunction with Subject Matter Experts. Key Accountabilities :
    • Work closely with the Global Sales and Business Operations teams to manage the RFI process. This would include the writing, compilation, and interface with functional areas needed to complete the RFI deliverable.
    • Identifying which SMEs need to be assigned to an RFI or RFP, communicating the focus of the RFI to them, scheduling, leading, and managing internal meetings to discuss strategy, delivery timelines and ensure quality of the final RFI.
    • Displaying excellent communication and problem-solving skills when working with non-responsive SMEs, and identifying when areas of escalation are needed or, additional resources are necessary.
    • Identifying and understanding the client's needs by selecting the correct responses to use for RFIs from the CBI libraries or creating new content in conjunction with SME input and thinking outside of the box to engage the customer and win new business.
    • Understand industry information, therapeutic areas/indications, types of clinical studies, product types, etc.
    • Create and maintain good working relationships and build trust with our internal customers to establish and maintain engagement in all opportunities.
    • Technical and analytical skills - running reports in a number of internal systems.
    • Confidence in managing multiple client deliverables, varied ad hoc requests with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail, capacity to deliver in short timelines.
    Education:
    • Bachelors required - preferably in Life or Social Sciences or equivalent work experience.
    Skills:
    • Potential to understand analytical data, communication skills (verbal and written).
    • Client focused approach to work.
    • Individual must be able to act professionally and with a high degree of maturity in dealing with confidential and sensitive information.
    • Flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning.
    • Should be a creative thinker and look to seek solutions to challenges.
    • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written and want to manage conversations with many and varied groups and subject matter experts within the company. Should enjoy developing relationships outside of the group to further enhance client deliverables.
    • Willingness to work in a matrix environment and to value the importance of teamwork.
    Knowledge and Experience :
    • Intermediate level previous experience in a sales/service-oriented environment, administration or technical writing role.
    • Ability to work from home (partially or full-time depending on job requirements)
    • Ability to work irregular or extended hours as needed to meet the client's RFI deadline - Please note this is ad hoc and rare but could happen due to the nature of the role.
    • Experience in information search and data manipulation, transforming data in information to answer RFI queries.
