- Targeted research on potential investors and mandates incl. gathering information on investor investment criteria, preferences, and current allocations.
- Due diligence of potential placement and M&A mandates incl. financial analysis, market research, evaluating GP track record and pipeline.
- Preparing marketing materials, pitch decks, and presentations.
- Maintaining investor database and ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
- Administrative support to placement agent partners incl. arranging meetings, organizing travel arrangements, and managing correspondence.
- Assist in fundraising processes incl. coordinating investor meetings, preparing meeting notes and materials, and assisting with follow-up.
- Analysing market trends in each asset class incl. competitor activity and regulatory developments that may impact fundraising.
- Communicating with clients and potential investors incl. responding to inquiries, providing projects updates, and coordinating meetings or events.
- Participate in special projects which may involve in-depth research, developing new processes or tools, or supporting strategic initiatives.
- Strong analytical and research skills

- Experience within private market GPs, hedge funds or placement agents is a plus

2024 Internship
This is a 4–6 month paid role as Placement Agent Intern. This role is based remotely however occasional travel to London may be involved. Both full-time and part-time commitments will be considered. As intern you will be assisting the fundraising process and supporting the team in its investor relations activities. This role provides exposure to the firm's senior partners, its private market investment manager clients and to institutional and private wealth investors.
Responsibilities
Overall, the Placement Agent Intern will play a crucial role in supporting the activities of the senior partners, gaining first-hand experience in investment banking and alternative asset placement advisory. Qualific a tions Successful candidate will be considered for a full-time Analyst or Associate role.
