    Description

    Full Time – PermanentSalary - £22 / £28k pa Depending on experienceRole/Responsibility:You will be responsible for Producing 2D electrical schematics and interconnectiondrawings for LV Distribution and Control.

    Interpret customer requirements and technicalspecifications and responsibility for the following:


    • Solidworks / AutoCad operator focusing on electrical requirements of theEngineering Dept.
    • Knowledge / experience of electrical control panel design for industrial equipment.
    • Read, understand and produce LV Electrical front of panel layout drawings, LVelectrical control schematics and interconnection diagrams derived from customer,and internal, specifications.
    • Liaise with workshop staff to create SOP's and streamline electrical equipmentdesign and build within the company.
    • Good database and computer skills. MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, etc)
    • Ability to work unsupervised and create detailed electrical drawings as detailedabove and also manufacturing package of drawings, parts lists and BOM's

    Skills/Qualifications:

    • Ability to discuss drawings and technical details
    • Experience of using AutoCad is essential
    • Experience of using Solidworks is desirable
    • Electrical / control knowledge is essential
    • Knowledge of production engineering practice
    • ONC or Equivalent qualification required
