    Location: Basingstoke/London/Remote/Travel (as required)

    Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

    Salary: £50,000 (Up to 10% Bonus)

    Start Date: June 2024

    What The Job Is All About

    As the Security Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing, and overseeing strategies to mitigate security risks associated with global businesses. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safety and security of employees travelling for work purposes while minimising organisational liabilities. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including; Health and Safety, Department Heads and Logistics, to establish comprehensive travel risk management protocols.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and report threat intelligence related to travel arrangements and special event planning.
    • Support Tour Sports departments with actionable intelligence to assist in safeguarding key personnel.
    • Evaluate and address threats or unusual interest cases targeting Sony Sports Businesses.
    • Develop and maintain relationships across the business environment to support the sony sports business mission effectively.
    • Support the binding contract with clients ensuring which security management system will be utilised
    • Continuously enhance existing sources and tools; identify new resources as needed.
    • Develop and deliver high-quality written products and oral intelligence briefings including travel risk
    • Identify and assess emerging geopolitical, travel and terrorism risks working in collaboration with Sony Sports clients
    • Provide reports on operational events and trends, offering tactical evaluations of current and future threats, and presenting operationally and tactically sound recommendations to mitigate risks
    • Maintain and refine data sources within a Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP)
    • Conduct Open Source Intelligence, including collecting and analyzing publicly available information
    • Protect and maintain sensitive and confidential information
    • Provide tactical support in the event of business disruption

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Minimum level 5 Security Risk Management Diploma
    • Member of Security Institute - MysI
    • IOSH managing safely

    Prerequisite

    • Experience of International Events and or Broadcast complexities
    • Knowledge of travel risk platform(s)
