    Description

    An elite US law firm are searching for a talented Corporate Tax Associate to join their band-1 team London.

    This role presents an exciting opportunity for individuals with up to 2 years PQE experience (must be qualified after September 2022) to contribute to our top-ranked practice.

    About Us:

    The Tax Group is renowned for its extensive experience in advising clients on strategic tax planning, structuring, and implementation issues associated with complex, cross-border transactions. With expertise in cross-border tax controversies and dispute resolution, our attorneys excel in managing and resolving disputes arising from global and regional business transactions.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in providing strategic tax planning and structuring advice to clients, analyzing the tax implications of complex transactions and developing tax-efficient solutions.
    • Assist in managing tax issues related to cross-border transactions, including transfer pricing matters and competent authority proceedings, ensuring compliance with international tax laws.
    • Engage directly with clients, providing responsive and tailored tax advice, and maintaining strong client relationships through effective communication and collaboration.
    • Prepare clear and concise written communications, including tax memos, opinions, and other documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
    • Conduct legal research on tax issues, staying abreast of legislative and regulatory developments, and providing informed analysis and recommendations to clients and colleagues.

    Qualifications:

    • up to 2 years PQE in a top-tier tax practice in London
    • A strong academic record.
    • Demonstrated initiative and willingness to take on responsibility, coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
    • Commitment to delivering high-quality work and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Team player mindset, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive and supportive work culture.
