    Description
    Interim Financial Accountant

    3 Month Contract - £ p/d inside

    Software Development

    London

    Cedar are exclusively partnered with a dynamic and rapidly expanding Software Development business based in the heart of the City, who are looking for an Interim Financial Accountant to join the Finance function. The business thrive on innovation and technology, supporting some of the most reputable brands in creating outstanding solutions allowing businesses to thrive within their market. This will be a 3 month contract with an opportunity to extend.

    The role:
    • Prepare the annual statutory accounts for various entities within the group for consolidation
    • Manage financial accounts and ensure strong balance sheet control including review process and identifying risks and opportunities
    • Assist with the month-end process for entities, working with key stakeholders for management information
    • Assist in deliverance of year end working with external auditors and manage strict deadlines
    • Ensure compliance and internal controls are met with relevant accounting standards and regulations
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiencies within finance
      About you:
      • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CA/CAANZ) with experience from a top 10 practice and 1 year + PQE
      • Experience from a Software/SaaS/IT business is highly desirable
      • Experience managing and overseeing audits
      • Ability to meet strict deadlines, strong attention to detail and accuracy
      • Strong understanding of accounting standards and technical knowledge
      • Immediately available or within a 2 week notice period
