- Attending marketing & networking events to increase the companies brand presence & attract new referral partners & opportunities.
- Educating new referral partners and clients on our products & services and clearly communicate the benefits of becoming a referral partner / client.
- Onboarding new referral partners, providing training and ongoing support to ensure they accurately promote our services and product and help deliver an outstanding client experience for our clients customers.
- Following up with prospective partners and clients and undertake negotiations as appropriate to close contracts.
- Fostering and maintain outstanding working relationships with referral partners and clients, resolving issues as appropriate to ensure outstanding working relations are maintained.
- Actively promoting new products & services, including the creation of communications, and briefing clients and partners as appropriate to ensure our clients benefit from new offerings.
- Co-ordinating and overseeing referral partner activities to ensure our products and services are accurately represented and sold in line with quality standards.
- Developing and maintain accurate hand over processes to technical teams / managers to ensure all hardware is managed efficiently.
- Preparing and present key metrics such as growth, lifetime value, customer satisfaction, acquisition rates and up-sale rates on a monthly / quarterly or annual basis to internal teams for review & action.
- Engaging with our client base to ensure they are satisfied with products / services and providing internal feedback to management to ensure client concerns are prioritised and resolved.
- Identify new opportunities to support the growth of the business, developing and implement plans to maximise sales opportunities.
- Proven track record in driving growth in similar industry, for example Energy, Technology, Software Control or Carbon
- Strong negotiation and customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Knowledge of energy sector & decarbonisation
- Excellent client service skills
- Degree level educated.
- Full-time – Permanent (40 hours per week) - Monday to Friday
- Driving Licence (Required)

Our client is an energy technology company focused on solving the challenges of delivering a smart, flexible energy grid for a greener smarter future.
They are experiencing a period of rapid growth and are currently seeking a new member of the team to help. The new Account Development Manager will be responsible for expanding and managing their referral partner programme and in turn growing our clients base, whilst ensuring they maintain an outstanding client experience.
What we are looking for:
We are seeking a hard-working and self-motivated Account Development Manager to oversee the engagement and growth of new clients, via direct sales and importantly via key reseller partner channels.
You will also be responsible for the ongoing management of referral partners and clients to drive business growth and ensure the overall quality of our products and services. There is the opportunity to grow the role, but initially you will be responsible for:
