Description

Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Electrician to Join our Balfour Beatty Kilpatrick team to work across the UK to deliver temporary site service packages.

Adhere to the information contained within Work Package Plans and Risk Assessments
Provide suggestions and recommendations for Temporary Works solutions
Through observation and liaison with the workforce and subcontractors suggests improvement areas
Be familiar with, and demonstrate commitment to the requirements of the Health & Safety and Environmental Policies
Ensures that the Environmental Policy and appropriate parts of Environmental Procedures are effectively communicated to the workforce, particularly to those engaged on activities that have been identified as likely to have a significant environmental impact
Assist with the completion of QA using BIM field 360
Awareness of project scope and highlights items of additional work
Carry out Appointed Person (AP) duties in accordance with Balfour Beatty Electrical Safe Systems of Work (ESSW)
Strong work ethic with flexibility to work unsociable hours / nights / Weekends
Holds a current driving license and ECS Card and SMSTS
Uncompromising approach to the implementation of safe systems of work
Awareness of Electrical Specifications
Understands the specific terms, conditions and outputs of relevant subcontractors and suppliers
Experience of monitoring project scope and preventing creep
Understands material wastage allowances and able to suggest improvements to save materials
Experience of temporary electrical installations
