    Estate Manager - Day shift

    Salary £50,000 - £55,000 per annum plus excellent benefits
    Liverpool city centre – Face to Face role & office based role
    3 jobs available – 1 x day shift and 2 x night shift
    Working at a Liverpool city centre retail estate, the Estate Managers will look after the estate day & night on a 4 days on, 4 days off 12 hour shift basis.
    You will be a proactive person, observant, monitoring the general area, the escalators, the cleaning, also acting as a tenants interface, dealing with stakeholders – both internal and external interface, engaging with numerous teams - plus you will have good with MS Office and have good written & verbal skills.
    The Estate Managers are also responsible for all works on the estate.
    Those on the day shift will be more customer focused, as there will of course be more of a tenant element, but for those on nights its more activity focused as there's no footfall, its more about overseeing what the teams are doing.
    A background as a Senior FM Manager or Account Director, working for a regional FM, or maybe a Regional Account Manager who cover multiple warehouses
    Core aspects of this job:

    • Ensuring the effective deployment of activities/tasks needed to cover the setup and running of all day-to-day operational Estate functions across the retail site
    • Liaising with other departments and local external organisations to understand what is happening in the wider City area and how that may impact works or events, to ensure that there are no clashes of activities that will have a negative impact on the retail site, its tenants or the general public
    • Ensure that any H&S issues are dealt with promptly and efficiently
    • When needed to be aware of and use the correct escalation process for out of hours issues.
    • Walk the public areas on a regular basis throughout the day checking on cleanliness, maintenance, landscaping, events, equipment, machinery and fixtures and fittings etc undertaking regular audits, and management of the actions resulting from those audits to measure performance of the teams in terms of tasks and presentation of the estate.
    • Monitor Back of House and Service Area standards reporting to the Environmental teams any areas of concern in relation to cleanliness and tenant behaviours, paying attention to discarded waste.
    • Be the first point of contact for third party contractors when they are on site, checking they are working safely as per permits issued.
    • Responsible for all lift and escalator checks
    • Be the lead for Site Project Meetings and own the calendar of events for the business
    • Work closely with the Building Fabric team to ensure that any issues are reported
    We are seeking an individual who meets the following criteria:
    • Technical soft security background
    • Facilities Management and/or Operational experience
    • Experience of liaising effectively with building users, external consultants and external contractors
    • Experience of contract management
    • Extensive knowledge of Health & Safety legislation/regulations with proven ability to manage and monitor
    • Experience of liaising with external partner & local orgs re potential impact of upcoming events

    • First Aid qual
    • Extensive knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislation/regulations
    • Experience in operational and facilities management
    • Experience of liaising effectively with building users, external consultants and external contractors
    • Experience of contract management

    • Previous retail or leisure experience
