We are recruiting for a Senior Respiratory & Sleep Physiologist who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
This post is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, dynamic team and develop as a respiratory and sleep physiologist.
You will receive in house mentoring and training in simple and complex lung function testing, sleep diagnostics and the treatment of sleep disordered breathing.
The unit is committed to participating in ongoing research, both locally and at a national level.Training post option available - Within six months, the applicant will be offered a promotion to a band 6 senior respiratory and sleep physiologist provided all training requirements and competencies have been met, making this an excellent opportunity for physiologists starting their career or looking to broaden their everyday practice
The post holder needs to be able to run Lung Function tests independently and ideally have experience with CPAP treatment, but will be given any necessary training to complement their skills.
Please note that lung function testing experience is essential for this post.If you do not have all the skills and competences for this post, we would still encourage you to apply as we are happy to support in-house training.

Qualifications/TrainingBSc Clinical Physiology (Respiratory)
Ability to perform routine lung function tests and respiratory polygraphy analysis
Participated in research and published papers
Experience with SentrySuite software for lung function
