We're putting evidence and a data driven approach at the heart of this improvement journey to make sure we understand our citizens backgrounds, needs and views and can design and deliver services that allow children and young people in Birmingham to thrive.
We're looking for dynamic and creative analytical professions to produce insightful and impactful evidence that will lead to better outcomes for our Children and Young People.
In this role, you'll be responsible for the management and analysis of a range of data sources in the area of schools and education data and performance.
You'll establish partnerships to identify requirements and interdependencies to produce a range of trusted and timely analysis products for operational, corporate, statutory and public users.
This role fundamentally supports the improvement of outcomes for children across Birmingham.The data, intelligence and information you collect and analyse will underpin education strategies and innovation programmes, so this is a fantastic opportunity to work on projects that benefit young people and their communities.
As such, everything you do will be evidence based, geared towards continuous improvement, and compliant with data protection legislation.An established professional with a degree level qualification in a relevant subject, you'll have substantial data management experience and an excellent knowledge of qualitative and quantitative data management, transformation and analysis.
You'll have proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing information and data management systems, including data collection, collation, analysis, and reporting.
You'll have experience of building and maintaining effective working relationships with a wide range of colleagues, stakeholders, and external organisations.
You'll use your knowledge and experience of effective data management and relevant standards and legislation to ensure data is assured, available, accurate and analysed and where possible look for opportunities for automation.
