Job summary
Clinical and Care Professional Leads support south east London-wide and borough programmes of work, therefore, there is an expectation that you currently work within south east London, and for borough based roles, within that borough.
The Clinical/Care Professional Lead for Quality & Safety is a key role within the Lambeth Together Care Partnership, working with partners including the NHS, Local Authority and our communities. The postholder will collaborate with a number of existing clinical and care professional leaders, SEL ICS colleagues and other stakeholders to support the development of a more coordinated and shared approach to maximising the quality and safety of local services, as well as supporting the borough to deliver its responsibilities around these areas.

Main duties of the job
o Working with key teams within our partnership to help them ensure the delivery of our quality objectives, identifying opportunities for improvement and highlighting concerns or risks to quality via the Lambeth Together Assurance Group, and any other key local fora that have a responsibility for quality improvement and assurance, including close working with Delivery Alliances, Primary Care and Public Acting as a key interface with the SEL ICB Quality, Safety and Nursing Directorate team, supporting Lambeth to provide assurance on quality at Place to the ICB Quality and Performance Committee, and supporting the SEL quality team with reviewing CQC Ratings, the Patients Safety Incident Response Framework, Themes & Concerns, Learning from Deaths, and Quality Alerts. The postholder will advise on approaches to embedding learning at place, such as running learning Representing Lambeth at the quarterly ICS System Quality Surveillance Group, and other quality governance meetings where possible to identify/contribute to discussions re issues of concern or sharing improvements. This requires coordination with the other 5 CCPLs in SE London.
