About ArcticDB:

ArcticDB is a recently open-sourced client-side time-series database written in Python and C++. It is also a business that provides features and support for ArcticDB users globally.

We are hiring for:

Head of ArcticDB engineering. The role involves:

Delivery of all new ArcticDB features
Maintenance and support for internal (Man Group) and external users
Leading a team of engineers across London and Sofia (Bulgaria) offices
Collaborating with users, Head Quant, Product Manager, and Chief Architect to enhance the time-series database
Implementing roadmap features with stability

This role will report to the Head of ArcticDB and requires substantial development engineering experience, team management skills, knowledge of data-science stack, and proficiency in C++ and Python.

Development Experience: Substantial

Open-Source Frameworks: Used extensively
Data Engineering: Modern practices
Database Technologies: Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB, ArcticDB
