    We are delighted to recruit to a Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist/CAMHS Practitioner to join our multi-professional team Neurodevelopmental Team in Lewisham CAMHS.

    You will work both in the NDT and Lewisham Paediatric Community Team providing highly specialist assessments for children presenting with developmental and social communication concerns.


    We are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated clinical psychologist/CAMHS practitioner who is committed to providing and maintaining a high quality and standard of psychological care for children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions, and co-occurring mental health and/or behaviour that challenges.


    You will be working within a supportive and diverse multi-disciplinary team who pride ourselves in delivering accessible, empathic high quality care.

    The highly specialist clinician will provide specialist clinical input in multidisciplinary evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment care planning via our established clinics within the teams

    The post holder will act as care-coordinator and keyworker, taking responsibility for initiating planning and reviewing care plans, CPA co-ordination and meetings, and ensuring holistic care for children and their families

    In this role you will be able to work Monday to Friday in the time frames from 0900 to 1700 (incl. lunch break), giving you the very best of good work life balance.

    To provide a highly specialist psychology service within a bio-psycho-social model including specialist assessment, formulation, care planning, treatment, and evaluation of outcomes.

    To provide clinical supervision and consultation as appropriate, functioning as a senior team member

    To act as a care co-ordinator, taking responsibility for initiating planning and reviewing care plans, TAF/TAC, and ensuring holistic care for children and their families.

    To contribute to service development through undertaking and participating in appropriate projects.

    Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent that has been accepted by the HCPC for professional registration. (Additional training in a specialised area of psychological practice through formal post-qualification training (PG Diploma or equivalent) (e.g. in CBT and its modification for the client group), OR a combination of short courses, or an evidenced portfolio of supervised practice-based learning in a specialist area of clinical practice
    Registered with the HCPC as Practitioner Psychologist, and evidence of continuing professional development as required by the HCPC. (Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients with a range of psychological needs of a complex nature such as complex trauma, significant emotional behavioural dysregulation, psychotic experiences, and quality of life and survival in rare disease context (A/I)

    Doctoral level knowledge of psychological research methodology and complex statistical analysis. (To deliver psychological therapy across cultural and other differences.
