    Sales Executive

    Salary: £49,000 OTE + Car Allowance

    Area: Stoke-on-Trent

    Our client, a steel stockholder and processor and supplier based in the Stoke-on-Trent area, is seeking a Sales Executive with expertise in plasma, laser, and gas profiling. Renowned for their commitment to quality and customer service, our client offers innovative steel solutions to various industries.

    Position Overview:

    The Sales Executive will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth by promoting the company's profiling services to both existing and prospective clients. This individual will utilise their knowledge and experience in plasma, laser, and gas profiling to identify opportunities and provide tailored solutions to meet client needs.

    Benefits:

    • £49,000 OTE
    • Company car allowance
    • 23 days annual leave + Bank Holiday
    • Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00 (3 days office based, 2 days out on the road)

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients, understanding their steel profiling requirements.
    • Identify new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and networking efforts.
    • Offer expert advice and recommendations on profiling solutions best suited to clients' needs.
    • Liaise closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and advancements in profiling technology.
    • Meet and exceed sales targets to contribute to the overall success of the company.

    Requirements:

    • Proven sales experience within the steel industry, specifically in plasma, laser, and gas profiling services.
    • Ability to read technical drawings and understanding of CAD.
    • In-depth technical understanding of profiling processes and equipment.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
    • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
    • Self-motivated and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
    • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
