    Description

    Purpose:

    The post holder will lead and support the overall deployment and management of a range of services provided by Soar Beyond to the NHS, Local Health Authorities and Pharmaceutical Industry.

    Whilst ensuring high quality service delivery within contracts, your role will also include hands-on client and project delivery which will vary from project management to creating and writing materials as required.

    Main Duties and Responsibilities

    An instrumental role to support the strategic development of the business whilst managing projects and programmes to ensure effective delivery to all our clients which includes the NHS, Local Health Authorities and Pharmaceutical Industry.

    Execution and delivery of projects which would include the following (this list is an example and not exhaustive of the type of work we do, but highlights the breadth and complexity of the type of projects we deliver):

    • i2i e-learning programmes
    • SMART Workforce Platform programmes
    • 4D service and pathway redesign
    • Pharmaceutical Needs Assessments

    This will include:

    • Day-to-day account management and client liaison to a cross-section of senior NHS and Industry stakeholders
    • Providing management and leadership support to the senior clinical pharmacist team
    • Internal process development and refinement to create lean deployment and reproducibility of core products
    • Hands on delivery: Writing and producing materials from clinical resources to industry specific briefings and materials o Providing consultancy support to both the NHS and Pharma industry on pathway redesign/development o Facilitating and leading NHS/Industry training/advisory sessions o Running change management sessions following 4D methodologies
    • Supporting the creation and delivery of materials for sales, marketing, proposals, and pitches etc
    • Attendance and delivery at national conferences and exhibitions as an ambassador for Soar Beyond

    Education and Training of Others

    • Act as a mentor to the team, supporting and growing the team in particular
    • Understand and implement performance management strategies

    Person Specification

    Essential

    • Pharmacy or medicines related experience
    • Healthcare sector experience of service development, management, and mobilisation
    • Commissioning role or responsibilities
    • Previous experience of working in primary care (directly or indirectly)
    • Experience of leading and managing teams
    • Experience in writing report/article/educational materials
    • Full driving license with flexibility and willingness to travel when required

    Desirable

    • Master's degree in pharmacy (MPharm) or equivalent
    • Registration with the GPhC
