    Our native Apps each have over 800,000 users who visit them every month and we are looking for a Senior Android Developer who is keen to contribute to the delivery of top quality mobile products and enhancements for Trade Me, as well as grow their own skills and capabilities.

    Build native applications for Android using the latest technologies to give our mobile users a world-class experience.*Take innovative approaches to improving our native mobile platforms, providing the best tools and building blocks for our product teams to work with.

    Support and mentor our junior and intermediate engineers in their day to day work to ensure they're successful in the role and personal development.

    Be creative as part of a dynamic squad, developing exciting products for our internal customers.

    You'll contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from ideation and design, to user testing and more.*Conduct and implement functional and UI automated tests based on Trade Me quality standards.*Constantly improve your barista skills making a coffee with your squad or your hand-eye coordination playing table tennis or pool with a colleague.

    You've got 5+ years' experience working in a fast-paced, results-oriented, native apps development environment*Native Android development experience using Kotlin, or Java.

    Ideally you will have experience with Agile software development methodologies.

    You want to ship code all the time and you get nervous if your code is sitting in a development branch for too long.
