    Description

    Job Title: Respiratory Practitioner at Walsall Healthcare Trust

    Do you have a passion for providing high-quality care to patients? We are seeking an experienced respiratory practitioner to join our Respiratory team on ward 17.

    Main Duties of the Job:

    • Assist the ward manager in providing exceptional care for complex respiratory patients
    • Work with junior staff and students to provide educational experiences
    • Help with managerial duties like off duty, sickness management, and budget control
    • Act as a deputy for the ward manager in their absence

    Person Specification:

    Essential:

    • Registered General Nurse with respiratory experience

    Desirable:

    • Degree level study
    • Experience as a nurse in charge
    • Qualification in mentoring or equivalent
    • Experience working with junior staff and students
    • Extensive experience in caring for patients requiring specialized respiratory support
