    The D&NS Security Manager will assist the D&NS Security Controller and Project Leads/ Operations Directors manage and implement security across secure projects and provide assurance to Clients on a regular basis

    You'll be responsible for:

    • Manage security across a portfolio of Defence and National Security projects for Mace.
    • Win work across the business increasing the portfolio of secure projects.
    • Assist in the preparation of security documents for secure projects.
    • Manage security and provide assurance for projects across the business unit.
    • Carry out security audits and prepare assurance reports.
    • Meet with external stakeholders and consultants, provide security advice and maintain relationships.
    • Work with project managers to ensure the implementation of security processes across various projects.
    • Apply security processes and procedures across the RIBA stages for secure projects for the business unit
    • Development of processes to meet the need of individual clients.
    • Respond to client stakeholder's comments and requests.
    • Promote Mace Services to existing clients.

    You'll need to have:

    • APM Project Fundamentals Qualification
    • 5 GCSE's or equivalent (grades A-C) including Maths and English
    • Strong customer-service focus - responds promptly to customer needs and meets commitments.
    • Strong organisation skills - completes tasks correctly, accurately and on time.
    • Shows initiative - able to work independently and prioritise without direction
    • Teamwork - balances team and individual responsibilities, contributes to building a positive team spirit.
    • Safety and security - observe all safety/security procedures, using materials and equipment properly.
    • Demonstrates professionalism and enthusiasm.
    • Willing to learn.
    • Excellent communication skills - written/verbal.
    • Strong interpersonal skills - maintains confidentiality, listens without interrupting, calm and unflappable.
    • Punctual, reliable and dependable.
    • Flexible/adaptable - willing to work late/early as required.
    • Good attention to detail and quality focussed.
    • Professional attitude and well-presented.
    • Good presentation skills.
