    Core Developer (Python) - London
    Technology / Full-time / Hybrid
    Wintermute is one of the largest crypto-native algorithmic trading companies in digital assets.

    We provide liquidity algorithmically across most cryptocurrency exchanges and trading platforms, a broad range of OTC trading solutions as well as support high profile blockchain projects and traditional financial institutions moving into crypto.

    Wintermute also has a Wintermute Ventures arm that invests in early stage DeFi projects.

    You will work closely with the Head of Core Development, middle office, traders, and quants on various projects. We primarily work in python, but we are happy to use C++ whenever performance requires it.

    The role is ideal for an experienced candidate with strong Python skills who is interested to work on building high-performance systems and developing their knowledge of system architecture, as well as of finance and trading.

    Crypto exchange experience is not required, but interest in financial and crypto markets would be an advantage.

    a capture system that records the large amount of data related to our own trading activities on exchanges
    # a reconciliation engine that should be capable of handling up to 100M transactions per day
    # Full-time working experience with Python 3 and experience with a compiled language, ideally C++. Experience with an SQL database, ideally Postgres. Familiarity with Linux, on desktops and servers. Experience working with reconciliation, risk or other middle office systems would be an advantage, but not required.
