    We are seeking an experienced Safety, Health, and Environmental Manager to join our team in Doncaster


    Role:
    Safety, Health, and Environmental Manager

    Contract Type:
    Permanent, Full-Time

    You will have overall responsibility for driving Safety, Health and Environmental excellence across the site, ensuring that best practice and statutory obligations are fully met.

    As a partner to the Senior Leadership Team (in-particularly Operations & Logistics Management and Supervision), you will be responsible for embedding a safety culture ensuring full employee engagement in SHE activities to drive a culture of zero harm.

    Responsible for the development, management, and implementation of the SHE strategy for site, ensuring where required it is linked to the wider UK and Wabtec Global vision.

    Coach and develop the SHE team, to partner with the business and ensure personal and professional development, setting clear objectives and supporting their delivery as required.

    Principal contact with external, regulatory, audit, and trade bodies on health, safety, and environmental matters e.g. HSE, EA, BSI.

    Lead the continued evolution of the SHE Management System to ensure that it is fit for purpose and delivers the competence required to meet all regulatory, safety, and quality requirements.

    Develop and monitor SHE KPI's and provide management with statistical analysis and take remedial action where necessary.

    Monitor the implementation of Risk/CoSHH assessments ensuring suitable and sufficient safe working instructions are determined and communicated as appropriate.

    A track record of delivering SHE improvements within a manufacturing environment (desirable).
    Excellent knowledge of all Health, Safety & Environmental legislation with practical experience in SHE law.
    Experience in all regulatory compliance (ISO's 45001, 14001, 18001,9001 etc).
    NEBOSH Health & Safety Qualification.
    Training qualification (desirable).
