    Editor - Payments Insights & Market Trends

    The Role:

    The Editor will play a pivotal role in driving and maintaining Vixio's Payments Compliance

    editorial excellence and industry insights. We seek a proactive problem-solver with a robust

    work ethic and intense curiosity, poised to impress customers with cutting-edge insights into

    relevant industry trends.

    Content Creation:

    • Develop and implement a streamlined content creation process to facilitate the dynamic publishing of Insights daily.
    • Conduct daily Insights meetings to ideate new topics, agree on story angles, and ensure content relevance, timeliness, and actionable insights.
    • Produce 1-2 thought leadership pieces weekly to underscore subject matter expertise.
    • Represent Vixio through participation in webinars, events, and panel discussions, offering insights and moderating discussions.
    • Contribute subject matter expertise to support commercial activities, recommending relevant content that drives renewals and new business. Additionally, curate a monthly digest of key industry topics and challenges, showcasing Vixio's solutions.

    Team Management:

    • Lead by example, embodying excellence in all aspects of work.
    • Direct daily and weekly workflows to ensure adherence to style guides and uphold high-quality standards.
    • Provide mentorship and coaching to the team of journalists, fostering skill development, subject matter expertise, and overall capacity.
    • Inspire and motivate the team with a clear vision for delivering exceptional work.

    What You Need to be Successful

    • Possess a deep understanding of the payments ecosystem and prevailing market trends.
    • Exhibit dynamic and charismatic leadership qualities.
    • Demonstrate curiosity and a persistent, tenacious approach to challenges.
    • Prioritise customer-centricity in all endeavours
    • Communicate effectively with impact, both verbally and in writing
    • Consistently deliver high-quality work within specified deadlines
    • Effectively manage relationships upwards and across the organisation to set and meet expectations.
    • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and uphold standards of excellence.
    • Pay meticulous attention to detail and foster a collaborative, respectful work environment.
    • Possess strong analytical skills and the ability to craft compelling narratives.
    • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or related fields.
    • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience working as an Editor or Research Lead.
