- Estimation: Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for electrical projects, including materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Liaising with the contracts manager to review outstanding quotes.
- Client Interaction: Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and project managers to understand project objectives and provide timely and competitive bids. Meet on sites to survey works ensuring all requirements and expectations are met.
- Review issued specifications, engineers' information, and other relevant documents.
- Evaluation of potential project risk on both commercial and deliverable aspects
- Producing and delivering accurate electrical and specialist estimates in-line with both specifications and industry requirements
- Bid Management: Manage the entire bid process, from reviewing project specifications and drawings to soliciting and evaluating subcontractor bids.
- Ensuring tender submissions are comprehensively reviewed and qualified correctly.
- Analyse project requirements and specifications to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions. Determining type, quantity, cost of materials and fixtures needed for each project.
- Regular team meetings and tender reports
- Reviewing quotes not won and liaising with clients for feedback.
- Documentation: Maintain organised records of all project estimates, bids, and related documentation
- Monday - Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm (Overtime paid)
- Additional hours as required to meet client and company expectations
- Fleet vehicle provided (as required)

- Good knowledge of Microsoft packages (Excel/Word/Outlook)
- The ability to read tender specifications, drawings and produce detailed pricing cost plans.
- The ability to self-manage time and workloads and multi-task various projects sequentially.
- Ability to liaise and converse with clients in a professional manner.
