    Tech Lead

    A well-established company who have recently established an Enterprise division in London is seeking multiple Tech Leads to join their London-based teams. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on the future of their product. Operating within a self-autonomous environment, where proactive behavior is highly valued and individuals are granted a significant level of independence.

    Product Overview:

    Serving over 180,000 clients, including renowned names like Coca Cola, Hulu, and Universal, the product is a work operating system that empowers clients to tailor workflows according to their preferences. By customizing workflows, teams can enhance alignment, productivity, and efficiency. The system enables the consolidation of work, processes, tools, and files into a unified operating platform.

    The Role:

    As a Tech Lead, you will become a part of the London Enterprise teams (complemented by an existing team in Tel-Aviv), focusing primarily on servicing the requirements of large businesses and enterprises. The ideal candidate is expected to possess a holistic perspective beyond coding, keen on understanding the broader implications. Within the enterprise team, there are three key areas of specialization:

    • Security-related features/Integrity and Data Protection
    • User access/Permissions management
    • Customer Accounts/Management tools

    The company seeks an individual who is enthusiastic about aligning with both user and business demands, offering ample opportunities to develop new code, expand product functionalities, and facilitate the exploration of this new sphere. With a strong emphasis on team expansion, you will play a pivotal role in mentoring and nurturing junior team members.

    Desired Experience:

    The ideal Tech Lead should have proven leadership experience in managing product life cycles, transitioning through various stages of product development, preferably within a product-centric organization. Proficiency in JavaScript (Node, React, Redux) and Ruby is essential, with an equal distribution of focus (50/50) between the two. However, the company values adaptability and recognizes that adept developers can quickly learn new languages.

    The software engineering stack includes: React, Redux, Node, Ruby, AWS, Linux, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Kubernetes, Docker, and Kafka.

    Located near Tottenham Court Road Station, in close proximity to Meta offices, the company offers a competitive salary of up to £120K. Additionally, an attractive annual bonus ranging between 8-10% and stock options are provided. Employees enjoy 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays. Presently, the expectation is to work from the office three days a week, with a gradual shift towards a more flexible working arrangement.

    Interview Process:

    The initial stage involves a brief introductory call with the Internal Recruiter, offering insights into the product and project details while addressing any queries. This is followed by three separate technical interviews covering daily tasks and general aspects. The final phase includes an in-person meeting at the Central London office to meet potential team members.
