Otis is currently recruiting for a Category Buyer to join our highly successful purchasing team.
The position will be a hybrid role and the successful candidate will be expected to work from our Leicester Grove Park office, with travel to our approved Sub-contractors offices located throughout the UK and also home working.
The successful Senior Buyer will be responsible for;Conducting sub-contract negotiations and awarding project works.
Sourcing new sub-contractors to support the Otis business in all areas: Manage the whole tender process in compliance with company policies and conduct project tendering for our sub-contract category which includes installation labour, and elevator / escalator associated site services activity.
Negotiate strategic sub-contractor supply framework agreements and manage a number of key sub-contractor supply relationships continually looking to save costs, add value and streamline processes.
Conduct supply chain quality audits on our key sub-contractors, continually looking to make improvements.To be considered for our Senior Buyer position, you must be able to demonstrate that you have:
Strong Negotiation Skills and Supply Chain methodology.
Confidence in meeting challenging performance targets
A collaborative and supportive approach to the supply chain team to deliver individual commitments and results.
Ability to work in an adaptable manner which ensures Supply Chain Management team success.
