    Job Title:
    Milling Team Leader


    Location:
    Rotherham

    Salary:
    £18 per hour, overtime paid at x1.5

    Hours:
    Monday to Thursday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Friday: 6:30 AM – 2:00 PM

    Are you an experienced milling professional with leadership skills? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our clients team as a Milling Team Leader.

    As a key member of their manufacturing team, you will be responsible for overseeing milling operations and leading a team to ensure production targets are met efficiently and effectively.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and supervise a team of milling machine operators to achieve production goals.
    • Program, set up and operate milling machines with precision and efficiency.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
    • Troubleshoot issues and perform routine maintenance on milling machines.
    • Train new team members on milling techniques and machine operation.
    • Foster a positive work environment, encouraging teamwork and productivity.
    • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile when needed.
    • Lead by example and motivate team members to achieve excellence.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in milling operations, with leadership or supervisory experience.
    • Proficiency in programming milling machines using Fanuc and Hurco controls.
    • Experience with 4th and 5th axis milling highly advantageous.
    • Familiarity with Fanuc robot systems is desirable.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
    • Flexibility to work the specified shifts and overtime as required.
    • Commitment to safety and quality standards.
    • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow with the company.
