    Description


    We are working with an international defence client in the recruitment of a Project Controls Manager where you and your team will be supporting the Head of Project Controls and Planning across a complex major engineering program.

    You will get to work with a range of internal departments including engineering, procurement, and production to name a few.

    What you'll be doing:
    Providing practitioner capability in the establishment and maintenance of project control systems to support large complex and high value projectsApplying your expert understanding of project controls techniques and knowledge of project controls toolsets (e.g.

    , Earned Value Management, Risk, Change) to produce project controls deliverablesLeading and managing the production of various progress reports for presentation to senior management and customers to provide accurate and up to date project information to enable effective decision makingSupporting the Project Managers / Control Account Managers in managing cost, schedule and quality with associated data and metrics where required, as well as supporting in resolving emergent project issues and mitigating risksCoaching and guiding others in the skillset of project controlsDelegating as required for Head of Project Controls and PlanningYour skills and experiences:

    Experienced project controls professional or manager with extensive knowledge of project management (tools, techniques, practices) in a complex engineering/production environmentExcellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to guide and influence senior stakeholders across Engineering, Supply Chain and Production, and guide and develop others in project controlExperience of earned value managementProficient understanding of project controls and data analysis toolsets (e.g.

    , Tableau / Power BI, Primavera / planning toolsets, Risk management toolsets, Microsoft office suite)

    Professional PM Qualification or years of practical experience gained through application of Project ManagementBenefits:
