    Boiler Engineer - Energy from Waste Project
    United Kingdom (various locations as per project requirements)
    Contract

    Our client is a leading provider of sustainable energy solutions, committed to reducing environmental impact through innovative waste-to-energy projects.

    As part of our expansion, we are seeking a skilled Boiler Engineer to join our team for an exciting energy-from-waste project in the United Kingdom.

    As a Boiler Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the operation and maintenance of boiler systems within our energy-from-waste facility.

    You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe performance of boilers, contributing to the generation of renewable energy while adhering to industry regulations and safety standards.

    Operate and monitor boiler systems to ensure optimal performance and energy generation.
    # Safety Compliance:

    Adhere to all safety protocols, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members.

    # Maintain accurate records of boiler operations, maintenance activities, and performance metrics for reporting and analysis purposes.
    # Coordinate with other team members, including operators, technicians, and management, to optimize plant performance and address operational challenges effectively.
    # Emergency Response:

    Respond promptly to emergency situations, including equipment failures or malfunctions, and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks and minimize impact on operations.

    # Training:
    Provide training and guidance to junior staff members on boiler operation, maintenance best practices, and safety procedures.

    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
    Proven experience in operating and maintaining boilers, preferably in an energy-from-waste or power generation environment.
    Flexibility to work varying shifts and respond to emergencies as needed.
