Senior Technical Lead (Managed Service Provider) - Derbyshire On-site- £40,000-£60,000Locke & McCloud are looking for an experienced IT professional to join our client.
As the lead member of the team, you will assume responsibility for providing 3rd line technical support, project management, and strategic consultation across a diverse range of client sites and industries.
Main Responsibilities:
as a pivotal escalation point for our first and second-line support implement policies and procedures, including Disaster Recovery plans and CyberEssentials compliance measures.identify and address issues and vulnerabilities to pre-emptively mitigate potential pre-sales activities, including project planning, analysis, and customer maintain Microsoft Windows Server environments (2008 to 2019) both on-premises and in Microsoft deployment, migration, and upkeep of Microsoft 365 cloud services.
TCP/IP network analytics and design network cybersecurity measures, encompassing perimeter firewalls, client applications, and CyberEssentials deploy new technologies as relationships with third-party support teams to enhance collaboration and optimize procedures and monitoring solutions within our RMM platform to enhance proactiveness and automation.
To be considered for this role, you should have:experience in a managed service provider environment, preferably as a third-line record of leading and managing server and network migrations in both on-premises and cloud Azure and Microsoft 365 is essential.customer-facing skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external player with self-motivation and proactive nature.expertise in writing IT policies, procedures, and project troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Exchange, Hyper-V, Windows 10/11, Office, and VMWare.understanding of network analytics, design, and firewalls, routing, and VLAN technologies.qualification is continuously learn and develop professionally.
