Description
Just Recruitment is working with a global manufacturing business, within the construction industry, they are looking to add a Sales Manager to their team.
The key purpose of this role is driving sales growth and maintaining high service standards within the organisation's construction manufacturing division.
This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing the sales team, and overseeing customer relationships within the construction industry.
Key responsibilities include:
Develop Individual Sales Goals:
Establish and communicate clear sales targets for each team member, aligning with overall business objectives.
Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with the production team, marketing staff, sales management, and peers to develop accurate sales forecasts for new products.
Design and Implement Sales Strategy:
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve rapid market share growth while maintaining the highest level of service to the market.
Stay Informed on Market Trends:
Stay updated on new products, mapping technologies, retail market conditions, and promotional trends to inform sales strategies and tactics.
Conduct Market Research:
Conduct continuous market studies to identify potential clients, upcoming projects, and concrete volumes, and present findings in detailed reports.
Handle Customer Complaints:
Address customer complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring resolution and reporting all complaints centrally for further analysis and improvement.
Manage Sales Team:
Lead the engagement, retention, recruitment, coaching, motivation, and development of current and new sales personnel to drive performance and achieve targets.
Drive Sales and Service Excellence:
Drive sales and service levels across the retail division, ensuring that customer needs are met and exceeded to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
Candidate requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sales management within the construction industry.
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing sales strategies specifically tailored to the construction chemicals sector.
Strong leadership skills, including team management and recruitment experience within the industry.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a deep understanding of the construction chemicals market and its dynamics.
