    Description

    I am working with a new client in the Higher Education sector seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Manager to join their dynamic team.


    As a Network Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's network infrastructure.

    You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of our network operations.


    Key Responsibilities:


    Design, deploy, and manage local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and other network systems.nDevelop and implement network policies, procedures, and standards to ensure optimal performance and security.nEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to network security and data protection.nManage vendor relationships and oversee procurement of network equipment and services.nProvide technical leadership and mentorship to network engineering staff.

    Qualifications / Skills

    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.

    Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CISSP) preferred.

    Strong knowledge of network security principles and practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access control.
