    Lead Application Support Analyst

    Elevation Recruitment Group is excited to be exclusively assisting one of our valued clients in the recruitment of a Lead Application Support Analyst in Sheffield.

    Salary: up to £45,000

    Are you someone who loves technology and solving problems? We are looking for an outstanding Lead Application Support Analyst to join our client's team. You will be responsible for providing top-notch software support for their business ERP/back-office systems and integrated applications. In addition, you will play a key role in defining, designing, and implementing changes to application configurations to align them perfectly with business goals.

    This role will give you the chance to jump in with confidence as my client offers comprehensive training on their business applications, setting you up for success right from the start.

    You will collaborate with a skilled team on a variety of projects that will help you grow your skills.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide efficient software support for the ERP/back-office system and integrated applications
    • Lead the design and implementation of application configuration changes following best practices
    • Collaborate with end-users to solve issues and deliver effective solutions
    • Analyze reported issues, determine root causes, and apply necessary fixes
    • Support user acceptance testing for new software releases
    • Offer training and documentation to enhance user proficiency
    • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues
    • Stay updated on application updates and industry trends for optimization
    • Ensure compliance with service level agreements
    • Maintain detailed support documentation

    We are looking for Systems/Business Analysts with:

    • Experience in commercial environments providing application support and development
    • Basic accounting skills to troubleshoot financial modules
    • Strong SQL skills for data querying and analysis
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
    • Knowledge of MS CRM systems
    • Valid driver's license for occasional travel
    • Preferably experience with business analyst methodologies
