    Senior Manager, Banking

    £110,000 - £150,000 base salary + car allowance, bonus & benefits

    IGA Talent Solutions are currently partnered with a well-known, global Consultancy firm who are seeking a Senior Manager to join their Banking division, as part of their expansion plans for 2024.

    The work will include:

    • Providing strategic advice and guidance to Tier 1 banks on balance sheet optimization and management, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and identifying opportunities for risk mitigation.
    • Developing cost of equity frameworks, assessing credit ratings for illiquid assets, and contributing to sustainable finance initiatives in the banking industry.
    • Supporting clients in strategy development by bringing insights on client demand response to price changes and capital allocation frameworks to inform pricing strategy implementation across product and client segments.
    • Manage large scale projects and programs such as technology implementation, M&A and regulatory oversight, track progress and communicate with stakeholders.
    • Collaborating with clients to design and develop data models, dashboards, and analytical frameworks to gain insights into costs, resources, and key metrics for efficient decision-making and cost reduction measures.
    • Spearheading business restructuring initiatives to address pricing and charges remediation, working closely with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders at a large UK wealth manager.

    Requirements:

    • Preference will be given to candidates with proven relevant experience, ideally with a top-tier consulting firm, who understand a broad set of Finance and Risk topics from a banking perspective. Previous experience working for or with GSIBs as an SME in relevant domains for this role.
    • Core banking industry knowledge developed in finance, treasury, risk, or product teams (as practitioner, supervisor and/ or adviser)
    • Proficiency in analytical, modelling, communication, and presentation techniques.
