    Elite have partnered with a well-known premium highstreet brand, to support on the hire of an Assistant Merchandiser to join their friendly and collaborative team


    Assistant Merchandiser Responsibilities:

    Assists in the management of stock levels in order to maximise profit through salesAssists in managing allocations, ensuring allocation plans are metSupports the sale process in order to maximise sales, whilst protecting margin and profitEnsures all departmental, brand analysis and reports are accurately produced, maintained and circulated on a weekly basis: Monday trade, in season trade, pre-season trade and end of season analysisOversees markdowns and promotionsMonitors and analyses deliveries, working closely with suppliers and ensuring that the needs of the business are being metNegotiates with suppliers on the cost price and delivery dates.

    Ensures cost price reduction in relation to deliveriesSupports multi-channel analysesResponsible for updating the WSSI and assisting in departmental forecastingSupport the merchandiser with solid analysis and preparation for all key meetings including sign offs and strategiesSupports the merchandising team in creating seasonal sales and buying plans that will maximise commercial opportunitiesSupports merchandiser monitoring stock on continuity lines, maximising sales opportunityPlans induction for new employees within the merchandising teamCoaches and Develops team members at a junior level

    Role Requirements:
    Proven track record in multi-productStrong analytical and advanced Excel skillsAbility to identify key trends and emerging opportunities in line with customer profileExperience of managing a team and supporting sign offsAbility to deliver to tight timescales and work under pressureStrong negotiation skills If you are a Senior MAA or Assistant Merchandiser, looking for a new challenge, apply today
