    Description
    hush is an ambitious and distinctive fashion brand, with plans to double the business over the next few years. Founded 20 years ago, we are now established as one of the UK's leading online fashion retailers.

    We employ around 150 staff in our head office and across 8 John Lewis concessions, creating and selling a beautiful range of women's clothing and accessories characterised by an elegant simplicity and laidback sense of style.

    Despite the challenges to the retail industry, hush has continued grow – and our company culture still reflects our entrepreneurial roots and relaxed aesthetic.

    Reporting into the Merchandising Manager, the Assistant Merchandiser will be required to analyse sales and trade and ensure critical path dates are achieved to be able to provide the best range to our customers.

    As an Assistant Merchandiser, reporting, planning and the ability to communicate effectively is a crucial part of the role.

    You will also support in the training and development of Merchandising Admin Assistants in the team, so previous coaching and development experience is desirable.

    Trading
    Produce trading reports to summarise, analyse and identify key sales drivers.
    Gain a good understanding of product performance and articulate in Best/Worst meetings.
    Make weekly trading proposals to Merchandiser in relation to Sales Reactions and Stock Management.
    End of season sale proposal – complete roll up in line with budget spend and timelines.
    Liaise with the Ecommerce team with regards to Visual Merchandising of web and weekly marketing plans
    Planning
    Ensure good understanding of key planning documents and able to complete history accurately.

    Assist in the construction of the optimum range plan with supporting analysis, ensuring all documents accurately completed within buying cycle timeframe.

    Contribute to range building discussions with the use of Lessons Learnt.
    Support Merchandiser with Building category WSSI in relation to sales phasing and required stock builds.
    Management, Training and Development
    Oversee the training and development Merchandising Admin Assistant
    Comfortable with hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days from home)
    Proficient in Excel
    Strong Commercial acumen
