Who we're seeking
We are excited to announce the search for a Finance Manager - Projects to offer financial guidance to new Free Schools joining the Trust. This role will be situated at our primary office in Blackburn, with hybrid work arrangements available. For a motivated and proactive candidate, this position provides a starting salary of £56, a generous holiday package, public holidays, and a Local Government Pension.
The chosen candidate will lead financial management for new Free Schools under the Trust's umbrella and oversee financial operations development. They will be accountable for financial matters in all new Free schools or convertor academies prior to or upon joining the Trust.
We are looking for an ACA, ACCA, CIMA/CGMA, CIPFA, or equivalent qualified individual with a background in the Education or Not-for-Profit sector. Ideally, candidates should have experience in school or academy financial management roles or a similar position working closely with schools, such as within the independent education sector or as a qualified accountant.
