    This role will include a healthy mix of project, design, and support work, for both internal & client initiatives as well as management of a small team. Candidates should be prepared to deal with a magnitude of different characters, and high-pressure front office trading environments. The role therefore requires a high degree of client facing skills and stakeholder management.

    Responsibilities

    • Upkeep of the Thrive equipment within our data centre environments
    • Deploy, Manage and monitor all systems and infrastructure.
    • Line management of a small team
    • Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
    • Monitor and test server performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with relevant team to implement those fixes.
    • Deploy, Manage & Maintain Servers & SAN in DC.
    • Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.
    • Provide support to 3 rd line Team.
    • Liaise with vendors and clients for problem resolution.

    Core Technical Skills

    • Expert experience in implementation, administration and monitoring of VMWare vSphere (Esxi 6.7 & up, vCenter 6.7 & up with HA).
    • Solid experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows/Linux based environments.
    • Solid experience in deploying, managing & troubleshooting Active Directory, GPO, Sites & Services, DFS, DFS-r, DNS & DHCP roles.
    • Solid experience in deploying and managing Microsoft Exchange (2013 and up) in a highly available deployment across multiple sites.
    • Solid experience in deploying, administration and performance tuning SAN, preferably HP Nimble Arrays.
    • Experience with DR technologies, experience with Zerto is beneficial.
    • Solid experience in deploying & managing VDI solutions. (VMWare Horizon & Citrix)
    • Experience with hardware and software load-balancing technologies. Experience with Netscaler is beneficial.
    • Solid scripting skills using PowerShell, ARM template, Terraform and bat.
    • Exposure with SQL Database Administration & Management,
    • Solid Datacenter working experience and managing/maintaining large physical & virtual server fleets.
    • Experience Installing & configuring Auditing applications like Netwrix.
    • Public Cloud experience, preferably deploying Azure Infrastructure resources (VM's, vNets, Recovery service vaults, Storage Accounts, IAM, Azure AD, LB, VNG, Azure Virtual Desktop). Experience in Microsoft 365 & MDM is beneficial.
    • Experience in AWS cloud platform. (EC2, FSx, VPC, S3 and Amazon Workspace) is beneficial.
    • Experience with Monitoring tools like Solarwinds & PRTG.

    Education & Experience

    • Over 5 years experience in supporting IT infrastructure estates
    • VMWare: VCP
    • Microsoft: MCSE, MSCA
    • Microsoft Cloud: Azure Solutions Architect & M365
