    About the role: We are seeking an experienced individual to join our team as a Cloud Engineer, specializing in Security and Compliance. It is a remote position, and the candidate must hold the nationality of a NATO nation.


    Skills and Requirements:


    • Vast experience with Microsoft 365 Security Features:
      • Advanced understanding of Microsoft 365 security features and configurations.
      • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender for Office 365 and ATP policies.
      • Proficient in configuring and managing conditional access and identity protection.
      • Knowledgeable about data encryption and Azure Information Protection (AIP).

    • Compliance Management:
      • Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements such as GDPR and HIPAA.
      • Hands-on experience with data loss prevention (DLP) policies and compliance audits.
      • Skilled in conducting risk assessments and developing compliance documentation.
      • Understanding of eDiscovery and legal hold management.

    • PowerShell Scripting:
      • Proficiency in writing and executing PowerShell scripts for security and compliance purposes.
      • Capability to develop and maintain scripts for automation.
      • Experience with automating compliance reporting and monitoring.
      • Knowledge of script debugging and error handling.

    • Security Monitoring and Reporting:
      • Proficient in utilizing Microsoft 365 Security Center and SIEM tools.
      • Ability to generate security reports and offer valuable insights.
      • Hands-on experience in monitoring and responding to security incidents.
      • Knowledge of best practices in security information and event management (SIEM).

    • Advanced Threat Protection:
      • Expertise in setting up and managing ATP policies.
      • Experience in threat detection and mitigation.
      • Skilled in conducting security assessments and vulnerability scans.
      • Ability to address and mitigate security incidents.

    • Conditional Access and Identity Protection:
      • Advanced knowledge of conditional access policies in Azure AD.
      • Experience in configuring and managing identity protection policies.
      • Proficiency in enforcing multi-factor authentication (MFA).
      • Understanding of monitoring access patterns and identifying suspicious activities.

    • Data Encryption and Information Protection:
      • Skilled in configuring and managing data encryption policies.
      • Experience with Azure Information Protection (AIP).
      • Ability to apply data protection policies to sensitive information.
      • Understanding of monitoring and reporting on data protection compliance.

    • eDiscovery and Legal Hold Management:
      • Proficient in implementing and managing eDiscovery and legal hold processes.
      • Experience in auditing eDiscovery and legal hold configurations.
      • Understanding of data preservation for legal proceedings.
      • Ability to provide training and support for eDiscovery users.

    • User Training and Awareness:
      • Experience in advocating security awareness and promoting best practices.
      • Proficiency in offering guidance on the secure use of Microsoft 365 tools.

    • Continuous Improvement:
      • Commitment to staying updated with Microsoft 365 security and compliance features.
      • Proactive approach to implementing new security measures and enhancements.
      • Active participation in security and compliance forums and training sessions.
