- Inventory & revenue accruals
- Processing revenue recognition adjustments
- Ensuring product loans process is kept on top of and in good order.
- Full review and maintenance of all inventory locations with regular counts and reconciliations
- Management of the REG Finance mailbox
- Own direct channel sales reporting and processes
- Calculation of branch commission and recharges
- Accounting for and reviewing warranty & stock provisions.
- Raise monthly & quarterly staff recharges in line with service agreements.
- Updating TB and producing financial statements for internal reporting
- Completion of REG Financial highlights data
- Quarterly DIVA reporting and responding to RJA queries.
- Assist with the production of the management accounts in accordance with IFRS.
- Monthly balance sheet revaluation
- Preparing tax returns and partnering closely with external tax advisors to effectively deliver on all tax related deadlines on a quarterly, half yearly and annual basis for the Company and its branches.
- Managing tax provisions under IFRS in monthly, quarterly & year-end reporting cycles.
- Ownership of tax balance sheet accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Serve as the point of contact for corporate tax-related queries and provide tax analysis and advice for projects.
- Assist with the production of the statutory accounts in accordance with IFRS.
- Work closely with Finance Manager on the quarterly and year-end audits by external auditors.

Our client based in Theale is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. This role is responsible for a range of duties, supporting the Head of Finance and working closely with the Finance Manager to produce the company accounts on a monthly, quarterly & annual basis.
This role offers a blend of revenue and inventory focused responsibilities with exposure to wider financial reporting processes such as preparing financial statements and contributing towards the month-end processes.
To be considered for the Senior Accountant role you must be a Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and have previous experience in managing at least 1 direct report.
Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant role are:
Working hours for the Senior Accountant role are Monday to Friday.
