    Description
    Senior Air Quality and Compliance Consultant
    You will join our Environment and Health department in the firm's St. Louis, Missouri office or remote.
    Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

    We are currently seeking an energetic, highly-motivated, collaborative, and resourceful Senior Consultant to help service the air permitting and compliance needs of our industrial and institutional clients.

    The ideal candidate will possess the technical skills required to lead and execute complex air compliance projects, the business development skills to develop new clients and project opportunities, and the interpersonal and communication skills to enhance existing client and regulator relationships.

    Air permitting and compliance assistance experience
    Maintain regular contact with clients and develop proposals for environmental compliance related work
    Experience to conduct air permitting/compliance regulatory reviews
    Responsible for the preparation of plans, reports, permit applications, and other project documents; lead technical evaluations of data commensurate with experience
    Manage the technical, schedule and budgetary elements of projects
    Use prescribed and established methods to perform specific environmental engineering and scientific assignments
    Provide regular and consistent communications to clients, regulators and project staff on key issues and developments
    Engage with other senior practitioners within Ramboll to advance our brands (energy, water, environment and health) and standing with external stakeholders
    S. in Environmental Engineering or Chemical Engineering, minimally, with an Environmental Consultant background.
    ~4-8 years of experience, with at least the last 3-5 years in the environmental consulting field, particularly in a seller/doer role.
    ~ Ideal candidate has prior experience in air permitting and compliance, etc. Other environmental compliance experience also considered.
    ~ Highly motivated, team-oriented individual to work in a fast-paced environment, with the desire and skills to provide client, project and staff management functions.
    ~ Occasional travel (10-20%), as required.
