Description

The Supply Room, a leading education recruitment agency, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Wood Green.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about education and making a positive impact on the lives of young students.

Responsibilities:

Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons to students
Provide oneonone support to students who require additional help with their studies
Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Support students with their social and emotional development
Assist in preparing classroom resources and materials
Contribute to the planning and implementation of various learning activities
Maintain accurate records of students' progress and development
Collaborate with the teaching team and attend team meetings
Foster effective communication with parents and carers
Always ensure the overall safety and wellbeing of students

Requirements:

Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting
A genuine passion for supporting students' learning and development
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with young children
Strong organisational and time management skills
A clear understanding of the national curriculum and educational standards
A professional and proactive attitude
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
