    Assistant Marketing Manager

    NORTH LONDON

    £35,000 - £40,000

    This role is onsite initially, once settled in there is scope to move to a hybrid role with 1 – 2 days from home.

    Office hours are 7.30 am – 4.30 pm, homeworking hours are 8 am – 5 pm

    This wonderful, long-standing business is family-owned and has been for over 100 years. They are a household name in their industry with branches across the UK. With their marketing team based in North London, they are seeking an Assistant Marketing Manager with solid experience in both offline and online marketing, notably email campaigns, with a brand, retail or B2B background. You will join a small, dynamic marketing team within their fast-paced company.

    What will you be doing as Assistant Marketing Manager?

    You'll act as the central conduit for marketing requests from branches and other areas of the business and get to know lots of people across the business. Email marketing will initially be a large focus of this role, developing and shaping their 70,000 customer database for effective customer mapping, customer journeys, brand communications and automated campaigns.

    Over and above email marketing, you will have the opportunity to work across social media for their multiple brands including content generation and reporting.

    Working for a retail brand with multiple brands you'll support on design and delivery of POS, signage, promo planning, internal communications and across their website and eCommerce offerings.

    What experience do I need?

    First and foremost, you should be ambitious and willing to turn your hands to anything marketing

    This is a role to make your own and there is plenty of opportunity to learn news areas of marketing and own projects.

    Therefore, we would like to hear from marketers with at least 3 years of generalist marketing experience, coupled with email marketing campaign management.

    You'll be able to demonstrate your ability to be a self-starter and where you have had success in previous marketing campaigns.

    The business uses Mailchimp, so previous experience with this system would be helpful but experience with other systems such as Dot Digital, Dot Mailer, HubSpot, Marketo, Campaign Monitor will be useful as would working with customer data.

    You might have worked with Canva or have some knowledge of creating graphics in Adobe Creative Suite using InDesign and/or Photoshop.
