    The Opportunity

    Our client is leading business of biometric software across a range of industries - a business working with complex technology across iris and ID recognition which has been an established software engineering house over the last 10+ years with a range of products to enable businesses to manage and account for their workforce

    • As you will see - operating within the data space for this business it is literally the companies growth area with the opportunity for you to broaden your experience from a purely DBA to becoming involved in all matters from a data perspective with major transformations planned to be made here.

    The What?

    We are looking for an experienced SQL DBA / Developer who will be able to take ownership of the data estate alongside the senior DBA / Operations Manager as well as provide a level of thought leadership (coming hopefully from an interest in all things data) about new technology to use to enhance the environment.

    • Commercial experience working with SQL Server administration & support
    • Experienced working within SQL Server development.
    • Data warehousing experience
    • Excellent T-SQL skills including including query optimisation, query plan analysis, etc.
    • Any experience within cloud environments... particularly with AWS would be beneficial
