- Organise the Department's teaching contributions
- Coordinate access to NHS facilities for the practical components of the MSc course
- Participate in clinical development projects
- Support clinical trial activity
- Develop their research interests within the department's remit
- Supervise MSc (and potentially PhD) projects
- Support the clinical work of various Medical Physics disciplines
This post requires a good Honours Degree (2.1 or higher) in an appropriate physical science and a relevant postgraduate degree (MSc or PhD). Applicants should be registered as a Clinical Scientist in the field of medical physics with the HCPC. Candidates who are not HCPC registered will be considered for an appointment at a lower band and will be expected to work toward registration via AHCP's "route 2" equivalence.
