Description
Our client are looking for a Design Engineer to join theirteam to design screening and sorting special purpose machinery.This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate, as you will see your designs from concept, through design and manufacturing to installation and commissioning.
As a Design Engineer, your duties will include:To design and detail parts to individual component level, using Autodesk Inventor.
Produce full parts drawings, BOMs and assembly drawings for the Production Team
Complete site surveys where necessary working closely with customers to offer technical solutions and recommendations
To work with customers to design and develop innovative new products
Project Management opportunities.
You will have the opportunity to oversee projects from concept to installation and commissioning, working with the customers, sales and manufacturing teams on some challenging projects.
To be considered for this Design Engineer position, you will need the following:HNC/HND/Degree qualified from a Mechanical Engineering preferred
Experience of Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D package
Detail conscious, with a creative approach to problem solving.
Strong organisational skills and ability to run multiple projects in parallel
Ideally experience in a similar field preferred, e.g. conveyors, structural engineering etc.
