    Job Description

    Role

    We are seeking a dynamic Head of Data Science and Engineering to lead our growing Data team. As a key leader, you will drive the transformation of TPR into a Data-enabled regulator.

    Our aim is to revolutionize pension regulation by leveraging digital, data, and technology to enhance efficiency, security, and transparency. Join us in utilizing high-quality data to empower TPR's growth.

    With a modern data architecture in Microsoft Azure, we are keen on maximizing our data capabilities for the benefit of savers. Join us in shaping the future of data science and engineering at TPR.

    This is a pivotal time to be part of our team and contribute to our data-driven transformation.

    Responsibilities

    - Strategic direction: Define the strategic path for data science and engineering capability, collaborating with colleagues for further development.
    - Leadership: Lead and develop Data Science and Engineering teams, ensuring they are well-equipped to provide expertise across platforms.
    - Stakeholder management: Engage with stakeholders to drive positive change and enhance data exploitation. Foster relationships across sectors to facilitate data flow.
    - Innovation: Enhance efficiencies through automation and stay updated on data and technology trends.
    - Operations and planning: Oversee planning and operational processes to ensure service reliability.

    Essential Criteria

    - Demonstrable expertise in data landscape, technology trends, and the ability to lead Data Science & Engineering.
    - Specialized knowledge in data science, data exploitation, and stakeholder collaboration.
    - Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    - Proficiency in Azure data platforms and team leadership.

    Salary and Benefits
